A new arm for Courtney.

My sister fell very early last Saturday morning. She was headed down some stairs toward an outdoor freezer to grab a bottled water when she slipped and fell onto the concrete below. She told me that while it hurt, she didn't realize anything had really happened until she looked down at her arm and saw that it was twisted at an unnatural angle. She yelled for her boyfriend Mike and he came running. When he saw her, he panicked and said, "DON'T look at it!" Too late. He scooped her up, threw her into his truck, ran inside to grab his keys and together they shot toward the ER with emergency lights flashing. At the hospital the doctors gave her plenty of pain meds and, after examining her injuries, told her that her left arm was broken in three places and that she broke her foot as well. Today she had surgery to have a titanium plate placed in her arm (the above photo is an x-ray taken afterward). Her surgery went well and she's recouping as I type this. I praise Jesus for her safety and her health. I love my big sister. Thanks to all who prayed for Courtney.
