God gives a peace that is almost overwhelming. From no other source have I ever received such an understanding. To know the Lord really is to know what peace is...
Every problem has a solution. Every circumstance has an end. Every hurdle is fully capable of being overcome. Every day brings new opportunity.
I don't have to WORRY. But do I worry? Certainly I can fall into it just like anyone else. But knowing God means that I do not have to remain burdened- I can cast all of my cares upon Him and LET IT GO. He can handle it. He WANTS to. I can lean on the understanding of someone who knows things that I do not, is capable of things I am not, and who has everything completely and utterly under control.
It is a fight to keep this at the forefront of my mind. The world is constantly swirling with negativity, fear, threats, perversion, and darkness. But I find that the struggle is always worth it because He carries the torch I need to see the path I'm walking along. He will not let me fall to my death. And this is for every situation! It pays to know the Creator of the universe and to learn to deny your natural instincts to trust your own self. I am so prone to failure, to disappointment, to making mistakes along the way... but He is perfect. He is rest.
