Things are great!

Things are going great! Robby and I just got back from an awesome marriage retreat in Branson, MO. We had the BEST time. Took Lincoln with us, but there were sitters during the conference part of the trip, so we were able to completely focus on the incredible message and each other. This was our second year in a row to attend and we just love it. It's so special to be able to map out that time just for my husband and I- it's so needed and so, so valued. Every September from this point forward will have a reserve on it for a weekend for just the two of us. Next year we plan to stay an additional night and make sure we play things up as much as possible. I love my husband beyond belief- God has given me someone better than I ever could have dreamed up on my own. I am eternally grateful for that man. On a side note, my best friend in the world and her husband were able to attend as well and we spent some great one-on-one time together. I was thrilled to have them with us!

Life with a baby is better than ever. The more kids I have, the easier it is in some ways. I feel so used to the routine of having a miniature human to feed, bathe, take care of, and enjoy. Lincoln is so special- he's so happy and sweet. I adore him! He has a hard time with road trips we've learned, however the rest of the time he is a complete delight and I couldn't ask for an easier baby. He is a mama's boy and I'm so glad! The kids love him to pieces. Amos the most, I think. :)

We're gearing up for a very busy and exciting Autumn! I love this time of year.
