I am now 5 days past my due date and no baby yet! This isn't exactly a shocker (my earliest ever birth was exactly 5 days past my EDD and my latest was 12 days), but I admit I have been impatient. And grumpy. I want to get the party started y'all! I've had a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions, and some painful ones, but no regularity at all. Not sleeping well anymore (I haven't been for months), although last night was a break from that pattern. Oh what a good night's rest can do for me! It's like a miracle drug. Truly. Anyway, aside from being mentally ready to move onto the next phase of life, I must say that physically I'm fine. This, too, is typical for me. I have been blessed with a body that takes well to pregnancies and birthin' babies. My mind? Not so much. I am r-e-a-d-y!Here's hoping this kid comes on out very soon!
